On May the fourth (national Star Wars Day), Dr. Massengale and his team will begin to see patients in the office for patients requiring in person services. 

“We have developed a protocol that minimizes risk to both the patients and staff.  Patients will have check in and check out remotely. They will also be able to speak to me before their office visit to decrease their time in the office.”- Dr. Massengale.

Patients will wear masks, come alone to their appointment if possible, and go from the parking lot directly into the examination room without stopping to check in or wait in the lobby.  Patients and staff will be screened for symptoms of COVID as well as close personal contact with patients infected.

“We can handle a lot of problems with digital pictures and video chat but some problems require a visit to prevent worsening.  With this protocol, patients can see if they need to come in before they come in.  If they do need to come in, we just continue the same visit in the office.  They can get in and out with light speed.”
