Maria Darnall is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Atlas Dermatology. With nearly a decade of nursing experience, Maria brings a deep commitment to the overall wellbeing of her patients. Prior to transitioning into dermatology, she worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where she developed expertise in critical care and detail-oriented nursing.
Maria earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANP) and continues to stay current with advancements in dermatologic care.
At Atlas Dermatology, Maria is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy skin and optimize self-confidence by combining medical expertise with a holistic and personalized approach.
Maria has called Baton Rouge home for over a decade. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
